The tanto, or mini katanas, are rightfully gaining quite a bit of hype among the manga and anime fandoms. These smaller versions of full-size katanas embody the soul and character of their bigger versions, despite their shorter stature.
Trafalgar Law, former Warlord of the Sea and captain of the Heart Pirates in One Piece wields a nodachi sword called Kikoku. The mini-katana or tanto versions of Kikoku are the most popular among fans. Featuring all the impressive details of the original version, the Kiko kutanto is truly a sight to behold.
Trafalgar Law’s KikokuTanto Design
Otaku ninja hero presents the signature Kikoku tanto blade, which is a visual feast for the eyes of One Piece fans. This mini katana blade emulates the spirit of the original Kikoku with precision and deserves a starring position as a decorative collectible.
Kikoku tanto has a slender stainless steel blade, characteristic of a nodachi. The black-and-white blade is straight and exhibits a distinct edge that can be used as a letter opener. The blade is embedded within a furry circular handguard (tsuba), which is notable for its signature design. The hilt (tsuka) is wrapped in traditional Japanese katana style but in a contrasting light blue color, ending in a gold pommel on the edge. The scabbard of the Kikokutanto packs as much impact as its hilt, featuring white cross shapes along its black-colored length and a beautiful red string wrapped near its mouth, just like the original!
