The Queen Shinobu Kocho is a name that requires no introduction. She is the major female character in Demon Slayer anime and the Insect Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps.
In the male-dominated Demon Slayer Corps, Shinobu Kocho holds her own, not only on the battleground but off it. She should by no means be underestimated for her looks. Despite her petite form and pleasant personality, she is a formidable warrior and has mastered the Insect Breathing style. She dominates the anime with an arm as dominating as her, the Blue Nichirin Katana.
Design
The Lavender Blue Nichirin Katana was not just a weapon of choice for Shinobu but was integral to her journey of self-discovery. Newly enrolled on the Demon Slayer Corps, she struggled with confidence regarding her physical attributes, but with experience as a Demon Slayer, her confidence in herself and her abilities skyrocketed. She became immensely strong and was able to take the Upper-Rank Demon Doma head-on, albeit for a short time. Impressed with her skills, Doma was compelled to compliment her.
The design of this katana is unique. To capture the essence of the original gear, we have replicated even the most minor details perfectly. The detailing will leave everyone who gazes at it in awe of the beautiful craftsmanship.
The blade is unique in design. The two-toned blade is black and silver and forged from high-carbon stainless steel. Stainless steel is known for its toughness and durability, a feat we wanted to replicate in memory of the original gear. The sharp silver end of the blade is thick at the base and curves to the tip, making the blade thin in the middle. The pointed tip is broad, mimicking the insect-like appearance of Shinobu’s katana. The words ‘Destroyer of Demons’ are inscribed on the side of the blade.
The crossguard is of striking orange and green colour and the shape of four, pointed insect-like wings with a green centre and raised orange borders. The unique colouring makes this katana stand out from the rest on the market.
The handle of the guard complements the crossguard. The base is of orange rayskin over which green cord-like coverings are hand bound. Beautiful orange rayskin peeks through the diamond cutouts that run the length of the handle. The handle is designed to provide you with a comfortable grip.
Usage
The blade that served loyally to Shinobu can also be possessed by you. Dominant in every setting, this will dominate at Comic Con as part of your costume. It will help you embody the great warrior, Shinobu, perfectly. You will appreciate the love Shinobu had for this arm when you hold it in your hands.
